$1.4 Million Oil Spill Prize Francis Beland, VP of Prize Development for the X PRIZE Foundation, announced the organization has launched a special "challenge contest" that award $1 million in prize money to the best ideas for cleaning up the Gulf Coast's waters and shoreline. "This will be a special prize, not exactly like the others we give," Beland said. He urged entrepreneurs to email him directly with their cleanup ideas and their input about how to further structure the contest.

Om alla Sveriges ingenjörer, forskare och innovatörer gick samman och löste problem och hittade på nya innovationer, tror du då att vi skulle göra framsteg? Naturligtvis! Om företag eller samhällsfunktion som behöver uppfinna nya saker, lösa problem, utveckla produkter, tjänster, eller affärsmodell lade ut dessa så att ingenjörerna kunde lösa dem, skulle vi utvecklas?
